It was good to experience Portugese style of living.

We recently stayed at Casa do Guardado, and we absolutely loved it! The house exceeded our expectations and was easy to get to. The key pickup process was smooth, and the owners were incredibly helpful and accessible, even late at night. They truly went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. The house itself is cozy and cute, equipped with everything you need for both short and long visits. They have open concept space were you can make yourself home all the time. Our room was spacious and comfortable, featuring an amazing queen-size bed extremely comfortable. The backyard is huge and with a coal barbecue. You can enjoy a nice breeze outside if you want. The place is close city to the city of Monsanto. If you like you can walk there ( a long walk) or go by car ( less then 10 minutes). It’s conveniently located near a great spot for breakfast and a mini-market for any essentials you might need. Plus, the kitchen is well-stocked with all the tools you need to cook or enjoy a nice glass of wine at night. We only regret to book a short stay. Next time we'll stay longer to be able to enjoy the house and explore more the region. We highly recommend Casa do Guardado and can’t wait to return!

It was a charming, rustic house with a wonderful courtyard and very relaxed atmosphere. Beautiful views. Very private yet in the center of everything and a short hike from Monsanto. The hosts were beyond fantastic.
