Hoburne Beach Escape near Christchurch

It need the heating sorted out as it got really cold the electric fire didn't work so cold in the bedrooms

They loved having two bathrooms. The hosts were brilliant and replied to all my concerns and requests efficiently and kindly. The lady cleaning the property was also very friendly and helpful.

Would have liked a map of location. They didn’t have a car so walked everywhere and elderly with walking difficulties and were not sure where to go.

curtains in bedroom very thin light came through shortage of cooking utensils no blind in lounge/kitchen brackets there but broken. good position and quiet appreciate its quite old van but enjoyed our stay

Fantastic location, clean, comfortable and easy entry instructions.

Nothing, it was perfect

Good location, bit of a walk to the coast, but only a 5 minute drive. Place was clean and tidy, with good outside decking . Parking was good. Hobourne site was well kept, with indoor and outdoor pools. Good place to stay with a young family.

Only downside was, the beds were not very comfortable! Probably deeper mattresses would solve that one!

Poorly equipped static caravan. Beds and bedding very uncomfortable (could feel springs coming through mattress in small room).   Budget bedding was very thin and provided little warmth.  Nobody slept particularly well which spoilt the holiday.  Only one radiator to heat the living /.dining area. The wall mounted electric heater didn't work with owner responding "they never use it". Hot water only available for a short period before having to wait for immersion heater. No hoover or brush to help keep caravan tidy during stay. No  drying rack to dry swim wear. Overall disappointing given we paid over £150 per night.

Location was great.

Dated interior and a little shabby (holes in net curtains and carpet in the lounge needs refreshing and a strip placing where it meets the kitchen). Also the smell was a little musty, ive left you a can of febreze. Would've preferred parking by the caravan as the parking down the road was often full. Shower was scalding, far too hot and couldnt seem to get it cooler until hot water ran out. A lack of basics in the kitchen such as grill pan and baking trays. Basically couldn't use the oven. Also the heating system wasn't great despite instructions and had to buy batteries for thermostat in the lounge. Couldn't get live tv, other than using apps. There's also a big gap at the top of the door and very creaky steps up to the caravan, the planters could have nice plants rather than weeds and Cigarette ends. Wasn't a massive problem as only really used the place for sleeping but wouldn't stay again. Didn't bother contacting the owners.
