Old Village Hall

Beautiful property and such a wonderful host, very accommodating. Love our stay so much.

The house was absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated, we stayed over Christmas and kitchen was perfect for cooking Christmas dinner, plenty of space and utensils. Log burner was fabulous, heated a very large open living space very quickly, and retained heat. We had an initial issue with the TV and Nikki fixed it immediately. Beds very comfortable. Beautiful walks through Old Nenthorn and very quick drive to beautiful Floors Castle estate and into Kelso.

Small detail that wouldn't affect everyone, for us the couch was very soft and very low and a few of our party couldn't sit on it, but other seating available.

The welcome pack left for us was one of the best I have ever seen.

L shaped couch uncomfortable. Both my mum (master bedroom) and myself (front left) didnt sleep good once. Hence left day early.

The space design and decor of the house was exceptional. It was well equipped and very comfortable. Great parking and lovely location. Prompt and helpful host messages

There was no recycle bin but our host was helpful in collecting our recycling after we left.

The couch was uncomfortable clear window in downstairs toilet no curtains and one bedroom had no curtains or blinds over window

Cleanliness and size

A little bit too remote if you have young children.

Accommodation was excellent, entire house was fitted to an excellent standard

Didn’t realise how far away from shops the lounge suite was terrrible for an octogenarian leaving only one chair to sit in As there was only 2 of us the house was quite cool and although we put on some heating it was cold in the evening Was also annoyed that we had to strip the beds
