Casa da Belavista with Jacuzzi

Casa da Belavista was a fantastic villa. Roomy and well equipped, and in great condition. We were greeted by some lovely welcome produce and an enormous loaf of bread from the village, this was really delicious and much appreciated. Communication with the host was above and beyond, Marcilia was really friendly and quickly answered all my questions before and during our stay, and although we may have had the odd miss communication, it was met with good humour. We cooked in a few nights as one of our group was not well, and the kitchen equipment was good. The only thing that would have been useful would be some little jars of dried herbs - as you don't want to buy a whole jar for one meal, although salt and pepper and some oil was available. The pool was a good size and as you would expect a little on the cold side, hence the addition of the hot tub was very much appreciated by me! The younger members of our family were happy to use the pool without any complaints. There are BBQ facilities and outdoor shower. Location was as expected, in a lovely quiet location with 'beautiful views'. Would definitely recommend and would love to return.

Can't think of anything we didn't like, so it is hard to write 2 to 3 sentences about what we didn't like. We didn't like that we only stayed for 5 nights - we wished we stayed for 7 or even longer!

Lovely quiet location with easy reach of Furnas and several good beaches. Perfect resort to get away from modern day stresses. Car is a must. Villa is comfortable and well equipped with a good pool.

No complaints.
