The location was great for Bass Lake and Yosemite. The cabin was lovely, and we had special evenings cooking bar b ques and looking at the amazing stars. We made special family memories we will treasure forever. Thanks, Acorn Cabin - you are very special. Form the Lee Family in the UK

"Convenient for Yosemite but expensive."

Location to get into Yosemite via south entrance very convenient. Bass Lake also worth visiting.

The room in the second floor was too hot. There is AC but still the temperature to high.

"Great place for families, close to a lake & Yosemite!"

This a great place for families! Especially since it’s hard to find lodging inside Yosemite, this is the next best thing! Great kitchen, lots of beds, my kids are grown but it would be good for young children because there are a couple rocking chairs upstairs & a baby gate. It’s peaceful, in the woods but close to a main road with a small grocery store. They don’t have produce so I recommend purchasing that before you get to the area. Our kids liked the swing. It’s close to a nice lake, looks great for swimming. We went to Yosemite. I recommend going early, the south entrance opens at 8am & if you can avoid the weekend even better. Mariposa Grove with the giant Sequoia is pretty close & hiking to the Sequoia will take several hours (the shuttle wasn’t working). Definitely worth it! The next day we drove into Yosemite. It’s a pretty long twisting road through the mountains so give yourself time to eat and use the restroom. On Memorial Day weekend it took us 2 hours to wait in a car line to get into the park.

it was perfect for our family kids loved the upstairs room, very clean , big place for the kids to run and play also they loved the swing.

the only thing was not being able to have no sort of communication, or a way to look for directions,Wi-Fi was not working it’s understandable might of have been a technical issue.
