A beautifully authentic Greek house just 3 minutes from the airport, this place is a gem and offers the perfect mix of convenience, comfort, and charm. The moment you open the door, you can feel the thoughtful touch and warm character that Manos, the host, infused into every detail. We loved it.

There is absolutely nothing you can't like about this wonderful place.

Casa Terrazzo is a beautifully designed and tastefully renovated little flat/house. It’s clean and thoughtfully equipped - with air conditioning, a well-stocked kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, and easy self-check-in. The host is extremely helpful and friendly; we really appreciated his warmth and responsiveness, and it’s clear he genuinely cares about his guests. The flat itself feels like a little gem tucked into an otherwise run-down village just outside the airport. If you have an early flight, the location is perfect—just a five-minute walk to the terminal.

That said, even the most welcoming host can’t make up for the poor location and the overall vibe of the village. We had some stress trying to find a safe place to park and experienced two unpleasant encounters with locals who seemed unwelcoming. The village feels busy, with people going about their business, but there’s little sense of friendliness toward visitors. Also, it’s important to manage expectations. While the listing mentions “city views / mountain views,” the flat is in a narrow side street, surrounded closely by other houses. The actual view is of a neighbouring wall, and although there’s a rooftop terrace, the outlook is mostly rooftops. The village has a busy main road with no pavements, making any walk to a restaurant or shop feel unsafe. Noise from traffic and passing cars is constant, and you’ll also hear chatting neighbours, shouting children and adults, and people starting or even fixing their motorbikes right outside your window. There’s no designated parking, and the only option is to leave your car along the side road by the airport fence. Although we initially tried to park nearby, we were asked to move by a rental agency claiming the spot was theirs; later, after relocating the car and returning, we noticed someone had tampered with it by moving the wipers - thankfully there was no visible damage, but the experience felt a bit stressful. Overall, this is a lovely, convenient spot for a short overnight stay between flights, and in that regard it’s fantastic. But it’s not really suited as a holiday home for longer stays or for families wanting to explore on foot or enjoy relaxed Greek afternoons or evenings. It’s a stylish place to rest and reset - but not the right choice if you’re looking for views, strolls, or a family holiday vibe.

Perfectly renovated little house. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay and minutes from the airport. Beautiful roof terrace. Good cooking facilties ,good shower and comfy bed. Great location for supermarkets and restaurant. Spotlessly clean and nice touch with teas/coffee and water on arrival

Nothing to dislike

It is the house of the grandparents of the very friendly host, Manos. It is an extremely nice furnished and decorated house with a roof terrace, 5 minutes walk from the airport. I felt very much at home & there was even a small bottle of wine in the fridge!
