"Peaceful stay in a beautiful place."

Beautifully situated in a quiet village with a wonderful view of passing boats on the Douro river below. We loved that this was an authentic village, not a tourist place. Facilities were great - dishwasher, washing machine, a/c throughout. The hosts were really communicative, helpful and patient with us changing our arrival time. It’s a good sized property, with plenty of space for a family.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was super hot 40 degrees 🥵 when we stayed, so we were very grateful for a/c. The only tricky thing was street parking below the property.

"It was a very good stay."

The panoramic view over the river is very beautiful and the amenities of the house were good.

We don't like the way to access the house. In the house there was no garage (the site indicated this), but on the street there was no proper parking and the car stayed during the entire stay poorly parked on the road.

"Wonderful"

House was clean, hosts were very accommodating. The setting and view is superb. We went for lovely walks. All in all a wonderful stay and will recommend it.
