"was allright for one night"

We got the keys via a keybox - so that was easy. The house is very nice, the kitchen is well equiped. The bedrooms are good sized and comfy.

The road is a bit busy for my liking and there was a bit of a damp smell when we walked in - but opening the windows helped

Cleanliness, ambience, personal touch.

Too early checkout time at 10 am. I mean 5 hours of cleaning is not normal but maybe I am wrong.

The hostess was very friendly and informative! The accommodations are spacious and comfortable. There is also a spot to park bikes and charge batteries next to the lovely garden.

"Superb"

The owner was most helpful and there were some lovely touches like some essential provisions in the kitchen ie cooking oils salt and pepper etc most helpful . Very comfy beds and beautifully thought out furnishings . Being able to park immediately outside on the driveway was great .

There was a slight damp smell on our arrival but that soon disappeared once we were in . Couldn’t locate the bakery …..but the supermarket was easily available . Very disappointed that the big hotel restaurant just across the bridge on the river was not open in the evenings for meals .
