AVA HOUSE

The accommodation met my expectations. We were very satisfied.

The property is at a very good location. It's a small and cozy place, and we really had a good time. We started our stay after a delay of one day due to unexpected circumstances, and the owners were kind enough to offer us one extra day of stay at no extra price. We were happily surprised at their hospitality, and whenever we visit slovenia again, we would stay at Ava House.

We were 2 couples staying in the apartment suitable for 4 persons. Unfortunately, privacy was a little bit of a concern due to the built of the apartment and creaking floors added to some irritation. I think maybe the 6 person apartment will suit better for adults.

The location is great, close to the ski slopes and different hiking locations. The apartment is nicely furnished, the fireplace is perfectly equipped to start a nice fire easily. The host was waiting for us with welcome gifts and offered compensation for some of the difficulties we had. The sleds that you can rent on a daily basis are very good quality and the price is fair.

There are two apartments listed under AVA House, we were renting the one for 4 persons - comments apply to this one. There are two major concerns here: 1) The windows are very small and the apartment is extremely dark. The pictures that you see on the site are very misleading in this sense - I would even think they were edited. It's OK for a skiing trip as the days are short, but we would have been disappointed if we came here during another time of the year. 2) The headroom in the top room is very small - 170 cm on its highest point. I'm relatively short, so I could manage, but if you are a tall person, it will be very uncomfortable for you

The house was really beautiful and well equipped. The host was very helpful and available if we needed something. We had a very nice stay.
