It's not a full house for rent - you are sharing it with the owner. As I'm ok to share sun terrace, garden etc, I felt I'm missing privacy by sharing home space with the owner. Owner uses one of the rooms as a bedroom, which would be ok, but doors are normal ones so you could hear everything. Same in general for other spaces - we could hear eachother. Which made me to whisper after 10 pm, as I felt uncomfortable to speak normally. Owner also speaks quite loud which you can easily hear upstairs and in my case (I was working for part of the stay) it was quite disturbing. Second thing was the bathroom - I had a feeling that it was done as an extra - there's only one light there, so bit dark when using the curtain, there's no ventilation so you need to open the door to let dry air in and looks like water was dropping from both toilet and under the sink. Also there's little light in the kitchen+living room and stairs to bedrooms and quite steep - not recommended for people with limited mobility. Maybe my assessment would be different if I were there for 2-3 days, but stayed 13 nights and I wouldn't do that again.

A friendly and generous host is always available to help us. Prazares is a quiet beautiful village, Casa de Maria has a beautiful garden and is near to restaurants, bars, and a small supermarket. There's a terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast and lunch and relax.
