Holiday House Red Deer

The house is owned and managed by the lovely couple next door, who go above and beyond to ensure both the property and their guests are exceptionally well cared for. From the beautifully landscaped garden to the tasteful artwork, digital entertainment, cleanliness, and overall comfort—every detail felt intentional and thoughtful. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the kind hosts, who gave us a personal tour and handed over the keys. As a delightful surprise, two beers and fruit drinks for the kids were waiting for us in the fridge—a very welcoming touch. The kitchen is modern, spotless, and fully equipped with everything you might need. Bathrooms and bedrooms were both comfortable and highly functional. We especially enjoyed relaxing on the back patio, soaking in the mountain views and the peaceful sound of the nearby river. The BBQ setup was fantastic—fully stocked with charcoal, kindling, fire starters, and a lighter—making it effortless to enjoy. Essentials like coffee and dishwasher tabs, new sponges and towels, laundry detergent, and toilet paper were all provided, removing the usual travel stress. This isn’t just a rental house—it truly feels like a vacation home, thanks to the care and attention the owners have put into every aspect of the stay. Also worth noting: the driveway, which once had a wood beam as shown in older photos, now features a secure metal fence that completely blocks street access—perfect for peace of mind if you're traveling with children or pets. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-equipped getaway!

The Holiday House Red deer is a complete family home that meets all needs.The pictures do not reflect the nice interior layout and the charming little details that make the house cozy. We had a comfy reading nook as well. The upper back room has a low ceiling but we were aware of that and the two children had a cozy retreat there. The view of the kitchen is amazing. Under the back windows, separated by a deeper laying meadow, the stream flows, which becomes little waterfalls in the forest a few steps from the house. It was lovely to take a walk there in the evenings. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is an American-style coffee maker and a Tschibo capsule coffee maker, the host provided us with plenty of capsules. Everything was at hand for a nice barbecue. Our dog was very kindly welcomed. We have a pointer, the fence was suitable for him to stay inside the garden. Azaleas opened in the garden at the end of April. Good wifi, big TV, good heating. Close to Kamnik, Bled, Bohinj, Peričnik waterfall and so on. The Red Deer is highly recommended!

This house is fantastic! 🌺 Everything is in place, tasteful, cozy and clean. The hosts are kind and attentive. We had a birthday, a wonderful delicious cake was waiting for us and fun decorations & champagne❤️

Everything is OK!

Everything was great. The house is very well equipped, you will find everything you need and more. Beautiful living room with a fireplace, comfortable beds, very clean bathrooms, large terrace with a beautiful view of the mountains, meadow and river. You can relax there, listening to the sound of the river and the singing of birds. Barbecue and fireplace available. A very dog-friendly place. Lots of space for the dog to run and walk. I liked everything

Lovely hosts living next door, available when you need them but always respecting your privacy. Nicely decorated, roomy and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice garden offering shade and sun at every moment of the day. Calm and quiet, yet some tourist attractions with a lovely lake 10 minutes from the house, and some challenging walks from the doorstep. As some hailstorms were announced during our stay, the hosts offered a parking space in their garage to protect our car from damage.

The weather 😁

A wonderful and indescribable experience. You don't know what's more beautiful. The house is wonderful, spacious, equipped to the last detail so that you literally feel like you are in your own home. The owners are wonderful, warm, cordial, unobtrusive, and you know they are there whenever you need them. Nature is incredible, mountain, forest, creek, lake, it's all in your backyard. Do not hesitate to choose this house for your vacation 🫶😊

The only thing I didn't like was that it lasted too short

Apartment is amazing, beautiful, and equipped with all what you need. Cabin have amazing decoration to include all details to make your vacation to be comfortable, peaceful and exciting. The kitchen is well organized and have all the equipment you need. The view outside is so beautiful, quiet and within the heart of the nature The host Igor and Snezna will make sure you have all what you need, willing to assist, guide and fill any information required It is definitely one of our best apartment we had during the last years and for that the score will be 10 !!!
