Upside Down Cottage

Very warm and comfy, great location.

Location was fabulous!! 10 second walk from the square. Log burner was a delight! Had all the utensils to cook our Christmas Day dinner and more. Kitchen great size!! Great info received regarding locating the property and how to access the key. Lovely little Christmas decorations scattered around to make it feel festive.

As soon as we entered the property I could smell damp, we had gone away for a break at Christmas as my husband had a health scare in October and we just needed a break, I had to move the mattress upstairs and we both slept in the lounge. I am sorry I couldn’t get it back down stairs but it was so heavy and I was scared of hurting myself. We also didn’t use the duvet or pillows and I could smell damp on the covers. We had a nice stay but never used the bedroom due to the smell of damp.

Exellent location just a short distant to the town square. All ammenties at the cottage were 1st class - log burner was very handy. Very comfy bed. Excellent communication with the hosts, no issues with gaining entry to the cottage. Al in all, I would recommend this property.

A little cold on arrival, room thermostats only showed temperature of 14°C - in saying that it was just above freezing outside and maybe the cottage had been empty for a few days. The house soon warmed up once the log burner was lit. Although parking was not a problem - manged to get parked a short distance from the cottage, it would have been nice if parking was available at the property. Hosts made us aware of parking situation so wasnt unexpected.

Fantastic property & location

No parking nearby. 2 hours only in market square

The Central Location of the Cottage was excellent, literally just off the Market Square but still tucked away and quiet. The Cottage has a cosy feel with a fabulous Log Burner. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely crisp bedding.

Lack of Parking

We liked everything about the property and our stay there. The cottage was very well appointed, extremely comfortable and the location could not have been better - a matter of yards from the market square. It was peaceful with no noise from anywhere.

Always a pleasure to stay here. Great location with everything you need for a market town break.
