Carnowen Cottage

Everything was absolutely amazing again just like last year! Zuzana is an excellent host, the cottage is spotless and very cosy - it’s our favourite place to go we absolutely love this little spot and can’t wait to get back again! Thank you for everything Zuzana - absolute perfection!

Location for perfect for day trips around Donegal. Also close to family and friends

Everything was absolutely perfect. Both we and the children fell in love with this charming, cozy house. Beautiful views from the windows and garden. The area is also full of cool attractions.

We were there definitely too short.

- very comfortable and cosy - very well equipped, like being at home, and everything was in great working order - the football goal, basketball hoop, balls, and games to keep children entertained and active - super clean - attentive and hospitable host - clear instructions on how to get in, how to use water heater for hot water and heating - we slept well - secure private parking

- we thought the living room was cluttered (one of my children called it creepy because he didn’t like the smell, there was something that said ‘Live everyday like it’s your last day’, and there were teddy bears everywhere. 😅) - we wished there would have been a coat hanger for our coats and backpacks - we found it rather awkward to move in the shower on account of the small space created by the shower curtain

Everything was thoughtfully kept. Even had color pencils and toys for the kids

All good. Could use a paddle bin though.

Best accomodation where we ever been..Every detail in cottage is perfect.Really relaxing time and kids loves rooms upstairs..Bathroom absolutely georgeos .Zuzana very nice and kind...We can't be back.

Concealed entrance which made leaving the property difficult by car.

Carnowen Cottage was perfect for our family to stay. The property has 3 double bedrooms, living room and kitchen. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you would require. Even dog bowls! The top bedroom has lots of games, which we got great use of. The living room has a tv and access to online streaming services, and the internet was fast and reliable. Unfortunately the Irish weather didn’t play ball, but there is a lovely garden around the property, which is included and safe for our dog and children. We were able to travel to Rathmullan and Buncrana within a short drive. Would highly recommend.
