Add Story Guest House

The photos on the Booking.com were misleading, showing nice houses. But we were placed into a provisional box-like cottage.

Location at the lake.

Nice pictures in the profile, but it doesn't help the very rude receptionist and the extremely rude and lying girl, who didn't shy away from insulting us guests. Didn't like anything. We didn't even stay there.

Terrible experience. We arrived late around 21pm. And we got they key to a plastic box house. There were no pictures of it in the account. We only saw a nice wooden guest house but that wasn't it. We got to the house to find out there is around +40 degrees Celsius in there and the house wasn't ventilated. There was no air inside. To our surprise they wanted us to pay additional 5EUR to be able to use the air conditioner. Of course without it it wouldn't be even possible to physically be inside. We agreed and turned it on and went for a walk although we were very tired but the temperature inside wasn't bearable. To leave the windows open wasn't an option since the place is by the water and there plenty of mosquitoes and there were no mosquito nets on the windows so they basically made us to use the AC and to pay extra for it. We came back around 22:30 and there was still +28C inside. We called the receptionist who was very rude and she came. She told: "You can sleep on the couch under the AC!" WHY should we pay for a full guest house with a bed to sleep on a couch? Also the temperature inside wasn't decreasing at all. The AC wasn't working. Not to mention that you can't take down the window blinds fully. Anyone from outside can see you literally sleeping. The girl still refused to help and maid claims that it is very fine (although you could see her sweating only from standing there). It is already 23:30 and she is still standing and waiting on us. We haven't even opened any of our bags because of the heat. We asked if there is any other room available as we saw on Booking there was and for exact same price as we had paid for our room. But she said "No, that house isn't available for you". Later she said "If you pay extra 80EUR for it, you can rent the other house" Pay extra? But that house is 54EUR and the same price as we paid for this one. Just 10 minutes later, she goes and CHANGES the...

Great location. Next to lake. Close to city centre.

Not clear in Bookings.com that certain items were extras - spa, sauna, air conditioner use are all subject to additional charges. Not a major issue as we did not use these but should be made clearer for interested parties. Staff seemed surprised when we arrived.
