Clean, beds were comfortable, nicely decorated

It pains me to say this as its evident that at some point, somebody has gone to some effort to make sure that this property is clean, well presented and comfortable. However, they were let down in the execution. Fortunately we were only there as a two night stop gap, if we'd booked for a week then it would have been much more of a problem. We messaged both the owners and booking.com on arrival, neither have bothered to reply to our concerns. The biggest issue for us were that 3 of the rooms had ceiling lights that didn't work. The fans were operational but no lights. There were no lamps etc so the only lights in both the children's rooms were from the one inside the closet. This made packing to come home in pretty much darkness quite a challenge. The light in the twin bedroom did actually spring back into life on the morning we left which was handy. The other two fan lights in the main bedroom and lounge were operated by a remote control so we were able to get those on in the end. The WiFi was really poor to the point that the only TV that was able to connect was the one in the master bedroom. The main TV in the lounge couldn't connect to the Internet and it didn't have an aerial so it was impossible to sit and watch anything as a family. We couldn't find remotes for the TV in the kids room although did find one under the bed when we were packing to leave. The WiFi code we were sent didn't appear on our phones but we managed to connect our phones to it via the label on the router. It's 5G WiFi which dips in and out of service. The back yard was really overgrown with weeds, we didn't go out there as being non native we weren't sure what wildlife could be lurking in the undergrowth. There's only 4 dining chairs so we couldn't sit and eat as a family. Likewise only 4 cereal bowls and spoons.

It was spacious

The trash can was full of trash, the smell of the house when you get in was like Maruchan. No extra trash bags and no sponges to do the dishes and the extra blankets one was dirty. Needs some minors repairs and needs to clean the leaves in the patio.

Pros- - clean - spacious - tv in every room - washer and dryer - master shower is really nice - nice appliances Details that matter- - Roosters roam the neighborhood. It’s loud from 5 am on. - bedrooms - 2 at the front of the house, master at the back - master bedroom is down very uneven stairs and the entire floor is at a slant on that side of the house - most blinds had just the bottom corner cut out which felt a little weird - backyard wasn’t able to be used at all - very few supplies were provided- our family of 5 was there for a week and we were given 1 trash bag, we had to buy toilet paper during our stay, we purchased a pot and pan (and left them there) to make spaghetti because what was provided wouldn’t work, a lightbulb went out during our stay and we had no backup - bath mats were not provided and the floors were very slick. This was particularly an issue in the master where the floor is also at a slant. - no WiFi - table is only set up for 4. We like to play family games on vacation and the way it’s set up it was pretty much impossible Honestly, some of our issues probably could’ve been solved if we contacted the owner but none felt like big enough problems to actually spend vacation time on.

The property was spacious, had enough rooms and bathrooms for a small family. House was cute and neighbors were nice. Cute chickens came over to say hi from a neighbor.

The back room was at a slant. The room was strange walking through. The fan blade was broken and the window blinds. The trundle bed in the first room was tricky to operate and seems fragile. The blinds were broken in almost all the rooms of the house. The middle room the mattress was as comfortable and it was warmer. The air didn’t cool that room as well as the other rooms.
