One Ocean - A 1101

There was no key. They sent me a message with the steps to unlock and lock the door. It was super clean, everything was perfect, there were multiple towels, beach umbrellas, dish soap, 2 bath soap, etc. The house has an outside shower so you can remove all the sand before getting inside the house, super close to the beach, I even walked barefoot to the beach 😅. My family loved it and we will stay there again. 100% satisfaction!

Overall living layout space, outdoor shower, patio, and location were great for our stay! The kitchen storage space was clean and equipped. I reported two issues that required maintenance (a broken towel rack and a nonworking dryer), which were communicated to property management. They sent a rep the same day to repair it or to get parts. They also took the trash and recycling out on our behalf. A rental portal was provided, which was helpful. We had communication was management before and during our stay, which was good.

As a result of a lengthy contract for the rental space, I was expecting a lot more. Something as small as a welcome kit (kitchen sponge, travel size soaps for bathroom, etc.) but only provided travel dish soap. The inside linen closet door was dirty.  Upon checking, the bathroom rack was missing, and there was no other hanging space. There was no working ventilation in the bathroom. Due to this, vents had mildew built up (the maintenance man took note to fix it). The shower head was weak, and the bottom spout would dump when showering. The bed in the main bedroom was too low and soft. The twin beds were creaky. Many of the pillows were flat and old looking. The couch cushions were warped and uncomfortable. The dining seat chairs were dirty. The overall cooling of the space in the bedrooms felt stuffy. We could not lower AC due to rules of contract; unsure if it was due to AC needing upgrading or if adjusting the thermostat would do the trick. Floor fans were included, but 1 of 2 didn't work. Due to issues and for our comfort, we purchased an air mattress and floor fan of our own. I did two loads of laundry to find out the dryer didn't function properly (it didn't spin to dry). Due to this clothes and towels were air-dried; which didn’t feel good on the skin after a day on the beach.  Although  there a number of cons, this place has great potential once issues are addressed. *side note: Sadly, the beach was filled with  trash. Not the Siesta  Key Beach we remember.

The employees are very friendly and helpful! Nice people!
