The Barton Annexe

The Barton Annexe is a delightful property which has been prepared with care and attention. Jan, the owner, met me when I arrived and showed me round. I was on my way to a family celebration in Cornwall and Jan very kindly arranged for me to put some frozen food in her freezer, even though she was also organising catering for family that weekend. The property was very well equipped and I quickly felt very much at home. Thank you Jan and Paul.

This property has a great location, in a peaceful rural location not far from Glastonbury

Comfortable accommodation for our 2 night stay. Jan was friendly and helpful and we appreciated the fruit biscuits sweets and milk she had left for us. We had 2 good nights sleep. The curtain separating the bedroom area from the rest of the accommodation worked very well. We didn’t cook any meals so cannot comment on the oven, but the kitchen was well equipped, everything we did use was clean and everything we needed had been provided.

Ws felt rushed out on the morning of leaving, not by Jan but her husband. We’d already agreed the evening before we were aiming to leave at 10 and as we packed the car up at 9:45 my husband felt chivvied to get going. A sad way to end our otherwise very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful location, very quiet. Perfectly decorated and finished and everything you need is provided. Highly recommended, no doubt about it, I'll definitely be back

Very comfortable property, good shower, heated towel rail, comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen and exceptional welcome from the host.

This is an exceptionally well designed, furnished and decorated unit with separate kitchen and ensuite (with very good shower). Twin beds were fine. Well equipped kitchen - with new toaster! Easy, efficient electric radiators (and a towel rail that actually works). Good off-street parking. Quiet location but easy to find. Good wi-fi. The owners were welcoming, friendly and helpful (across the driveway if you needed anything). We really appreciated the flowers, fruit and biscuits. And, lastly, great value for money.
