"Relaxing few days break"

Lovely peaceful location in a village. A very nice village pub which was very friendly. It was lovely to see goats and an alpaca in the field next to the studio every night. Pam and Mike were very friendly and helpful.

"Peaceful stay in garden setting."

Pam and Mike welcomed me on arrival, and kindly took my luggage down to the studio in a trolley, Very friendly hosts, available by text if I were to need anything. I wanted a quiet few days to rest and read, and the studio is peaceful. There was a good collection of books in the studio for guests. Lovely garden setting, level field behind. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable bed and sofa. Spacious, has enough room for dancing or exercises . . . Small conservatory overlooking the tranquil garden. Very warm heating system. Thoughtful touches such as a water filter jug, home-made marmalade, and a very welcome electric blanket!

Property dated and tried, would benefit from refurbishment, particularly the bathroom, very old tiling in bathroom and kitchen. Cluttered with a mix of colours and bric-a-brac, and excess of cushions (34! plus 6 pillows) which felt a bit overwhelming, and could be simplified to three colours for a more co-ordinated look. The large room combines lounge space, dining area, with bed, so I'd have preferred a partition to separate the sleeping area. The Studio is no-shoes environment. Hard, scratchy old towels, so I bought new ones to use.

Amazing hosts for whom nothing was too much trouble. There was an unexpected little welcome pack including delicious homemade marmalade. The studio has so many extras and such a comfy bed in addition to it's perfect setting. Such a clean, peaceful, calm space. Thank you!

Our second visit. A lovely welcome by our hosts Pam and Mike. Our luggage was put on a trolley and wheeled to the studio. The setting is peaceful and the accommodation clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a relaxing break. Can't wait to go again.
