Lovely villa with amazing view

If you don’t book villa one and villa two then you can hear everything through it as they are connected and the internal door is just locked. Fine for one night but if longer and kids next door it would become a problem.

The fridge really needs replacing - ice box front absent, broken compartments, difficult to store adequately

Brand new beautifully appointed cottage.

Adjacent cottage had young baby noise. Not a problem, as 2 doors to bedroom.

Peaceful and relaxing, beautiful views and lots of thoughtful extras within the property. Comfortable bed and plenty of storage space.

Nothing

We loved the location and surrounding area. The views were ecstatic. Great comfort all around. The place was overall very neat and tidy.

The only issue we had was that some kitchenware eg.plate, coffee cup, grater, plates in cupboards were not cleaned properly, some items showed signs of food/coffee residue left behind. I cleaned it before use. Shower was a bit awkward as the floor got wet, shower head has to be placed facing the wall to avoid the floor from getting wet.

Essen war gut, Bungalow ebenfalls

Die Schlüsselübergabe war einfach aber der Bungalow wurde nur unzureichend erklärt. Hier würde ein Luftbild mit dem Weg darauf hilfreich sein. Die Schilder mit einem Pfeil versehen wäre ebenfalls hilfreich und man würde nicht beim Nachbarn ankommen. Das Wein Testing war die absolute Katastrophe. Es wurden 6 Gläser auf den Tisch gestellt und schenkte diese ein, man konnte einen kurzen Blick auf die Flasche werfen das wars. Da es schon 16:15 Uhr war wollte der Mitarbeiter um 17 Uhr Feierabend machen. Übrigens uns hat keiner der Weine wirklich gut geschmeckt, aber das ist ja Geschmacksache.

We had an amazing time with our dogs in this beautiful setting! The cottage is very comfortable & a lovely setting on the patio to relax, braai & enjoy the jacuzzi.

We stayed in Vineyard Villa 1 which is a the name suggests in the vineyard overlooking Stanford. It’s a very new, well appointed cottage with a nice shower.

The electricity failed on and off for two days, and despite having solar, an inverter, and batteries, nothing worked. We had alarms blaring at 9pm and cold showers, and management could not have cared less. There was little to no communication, no concern, and no attempt to assist until I lost my sense of humour. I understand technical problems can happen, but the complete lack of ownership or basic courtesy from the owner was unacceptable. Ps. The restaurant is nothing like the glossy photos and closes at 5pm, so don’t plan on having diner there either.
