This was a last minute booking due to an issue with our 1st booking.com reservation made weeks in advance. Quick response from the owner without info re: getting into the apartment. We arrived about an after booking it. Property has not been cleaned (all 3 beds dirty, used towels on bathroom floor, full dishwasher) when we arrived around 6:00 pm. Sent message to Jake (owner) without a response. Called Jake and had to leave a voicemail with detailed information. Still NO response. Called booking.com, they tried reaching out as well. NO response. We had already booked a walking tour at 7:00 pm, so we ahead and left property to go to that. It ended at 8:45 pm and we still had not received a response from Jake. I (mom) was 2.5 hours away from home (without husband) with 4 teenage girls for my daughter’s 16th birthday. At 9:00 pm we made the decision to just stay at a hotel for the night. A little while later, Jake sent instructions for check-out the next day, but NEVER addressed the issue with the property being dirty, or the fact that we had to find other accommodations. Note: The property is not as warm and inviting as it appears in the pictures. The couch could use a good cleaning, the rooms are quite small, the apartment itself felt cramped. Not worth the $410 for an overnight stay. Maybe it would have felt different had it been daytime and clean. Now I’m just waiting on my refund! Location was OK spacious

The kitchen was not supplied adequately. There were not enough blankets. There was dust on a lot of stuff. I did not feel that it was as clean as it should be. I found stuff behind a bedside table in the back bedroom when looking for an outlet, we found a half eaten cookie under the couch. For the price that we paid I feel that it should’ve been much cleaner, there are stains on the couch. The rocking chair is not a place for someone to sit in and be comfortable. There were only three places on the couch, where someone could sit comfortably. maybe add a recliner or a chair so that other people can sit down as well, was not a place you would want to spend time at and we had down days that we just wanted to relax and could not do that

The space is good, but note you are on the first floor of the townhouse, and the owner does not own the second-floor apartment. There was more than enough space for me and my family and one large bathroom, the spaces were clean and the beds were ok. The location is good, walkable distance to plenty of places to eat and attractions.

We lost two good days due to just being exhausted from lack of sleep due to the upstairs tenants, their stomping, running, dogs whaling carried through the building way past the supposed building quiet hours. Two mornings, my kids and I, woke up with low energy and unable to truly enjoy our days in Savannah. I'm an Air Force Vet and take sleep meds and those weren't enough compared to the noise above. I let the host know and I believe that he did what he could, but it's not within their control and not at all worth the disturbances at that price point. We even checked out a day early and stayed elsewhere, wasn't worth being miserable. Totally not worth what I paid, and the host declined a refund for the two days of disturbances which I thought was fair. Please check other reviews where guests complained of the noise upstairs...I wish I did. Also, need to add privacy screens to the bathroom windows...when you look up you can see into the neighbor's windows..which means they can see you.

The location was great

It could’ve been cleaner and there was 1 paper towel on the roll and one roll of toilet paper. Lastly, it accommodated 6 adults but only provided the towels
