Perfect location plenty of space for the dogs

The washing up sponge wasn't clean had been used and had hair on it. Badly stained sofas. We were asked to strip beds and put laundry in a bag and to take rubbish to the bins which are in the car park. Children play area was surrounded by stinging nettles so didn't let the toddler in and the cozy coupe which he loved could only be used under the shelter as the paving is so broken. Would not recommend. I saw the owner and introduced myself. There was no one to welcome me on arrival or welcome pack. Laundry, if needed, is coin operated. My bedroom was fine but no towel rail in bathroom so I had to hang my towels on the door to dry. Nothing is quality. Felt ripped off

Beautiful location and hosts. We had a problem with a cooker, but is was sorted out immediately and we were moved to the Cider Barn as it couldn't be fixed. So no probs at all. Our dogs and our children loved the location- a much needed rest :) The beds were super comfy!!

The house could do with a deep clean. All of the main parts ie toilet, kitchen, beds, flooring etc were clean, but thing like backs of cupboards could do with a sort and wipe but a very minor thing for us. I would imagine that it is because it's the end of the season. We would like to visit again.

Lovely rural location but not remote or isolated. Just outside Sidmouth . Parking space generous and cottage warm and comfortable.Quality of fittings in kitchen and bathroom exceptional .

Size of shower cubicle in downstairs bathroom not generous size . The WiFi was deemed not secure by my smartphone although I find it rare that guest WiFi passes this particular test . There is excellent 5G phone signal available so if you have a phone contract with a data allowance this is excellent .
