Campinola Holiday Home PRIVATE POOL

Wir wurden sehr freundlich willkommen geheißen. Die Unterkunft war sehr großzügig, und der Pool bot eine willkommene Abkühlung. Die Ausstattung an Küchenuntensilien war sehr umfangreich.

Wir haben die Unterkunft mit Frühstück gebucht,doch bekommen haben wir am ersten Tag einzeln abgepackte Marmeladendosen,3 Liter Milch ,eine Dose Cornflakes ,3 Flaschen Wasser , 5 kleine Cracker und 5 einzelne Croissants . Auch ließ die Sauberkeit in der Küche und in den Küchenschränken (zum Teil alte Gewürze etc.). Auch sind zusätzliche Decken ,gerade bei kühlen Tagen wünschenswert.

Het huis is erg ruim met drie ruime slaapkamers. De inrichting is een beetje apart en hier en daar wat ouderwets. Maar alles was netjes en schoon. Het zwembad was echt top! Mooi terras erom heen en super uitzicht. Sowieso overal rond om het huis mogelijkheid om in de zon te zitten. De locatie is ook prachtig. In een klein dorp in de bergen. Hou er wel rekening mee dat het een kwartiertje rijden uit de kust is, waardoor een auto wel aan te raden is. Ook voorzieningen zoals een supermarkt zijn niet in de buurt. Wel een hele goede pizzeria vaccaro in de straat en agriturismo da Regina is ook een aanrader. Domenico was erg behulpzaam en reageerde heel snel.

We konden het huis niet goed vinden. Het zit in een steile kleine straat, dat was even zoeken. Het duurt erg lang tot het water in de badkamer warm wordt. Het blijft ook niet altijd warm. Dat is jammer. Ook zijn de bedden wat hard, wat wij niet gewend zijn. Het internet bereik is ook niet overal in het huis erg sterk.

Die Lage in den Bergen in einem Dorf oberhalb der Amalfiküste war sehr schön. Die Wohnung (es ist kein Ferienhaus) war groß und bot ausreichend Platz für 6 Personen. Auf der Terrasse hat man abends schöne Sonne und einen schönen Blick ins Tal. Ringsum blickt man auf Weingärten und die Dorfgemeinschaft. Die Kommunikation mit Dominique und seiner Schwester lief einwandfrei und sehr freundlich. Auch Nachbarn waren freundlich und aufgeschlossen.

Die Wohnung ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und könnte mal eine Renovierung vertragen. In der Dusche gab es häufig nur kaltes Wasser. Das Frühstück bestand aus einer Box mit eingeschweißten Croissants/Zwieback, Marmelade, Milchpack und Saftpack im Kühlschrank - für uns war es okay, wir haben uns dann noch eigene Lebensmittel dazugekauft. Alles in allem eine solide Unterkunft aber definitiv nicht mit Bewertung 9.

De communicatie met de eigenaar was zeer prettig. Heel vriendelijk en servicegericht. Denkt graag mee. De grootte van het huis. Overal eigenlijk een balkon waar zowel in de zon als in de schaduw kunt zitten. Ook beneden bij het zwembad is het groot en kun je op meerdere plekjes in en uit de zon zitten/liggen. Alles wat je nodig hebt was aanwezig van bbq tot wasmachine. 2 badkamers en wc. Het terrein sloot je af met een automatisch hek.

Fantastic property in a stunning mountain setting. Lots of space, excellent bedrooms and living room, really great swimming pool. Near to picturesque Maiori and Amalfi, Positano, Atriani, etc are easily accessible on ferry or bus. Away from the tourists, which is great. Domenico, the owner, is super-friendly. Pizzeria Vaccaro is just around the corner - fantastic pizza. Other places also, but be aware that restaurants don't tend to open for lunch.

It's around 15 minutes' drive down the mountain to Maiori and up the mountain back. You need to concentrate when driving because of the turns. But this is the charm of the property, that you are in a perfect retreat removed from the bustle of towns - you need to do some planning but it's not a negative!

Beautiful property . Spotlessly clean and beautiful location . Rooms very comfortable and spacious . Lovely variety of food for breakfast. The swimming pool was a huge hit all Round brilliant . Domenico was a wonderful and extremely helpful host . Communication was always so easy and always helpful .

There was nothing to dislike.

Lovely peaceful location. Set back from the road running through the hamlet, the property is large, airy and with an excellent large balcony with a lovely view and the bonus of a great private pool area. Yes, there are 2/3 apartments above the property, but we only saw people a couple of times and was to say hello, it felt very private and relaxing at all times. The property is gated, with private parking, entrance and outside space. Really was a find in an otherwise non touristy area outside of Maiori main area. There are shopping facilities within a short walk but for basics, not a supermarket- head into Maiori for that. A great pizzeria - Pizzeria Vaccaro is within a couple of minutes walk with very friendly husband and wife running it (eat in or take out) and a little further down the hill an excellent restaurant - Agriturismo Da Regina. There is a bus route into Tramonti - easiest bus stop is 5 mins walk up the road by Il Girasole (wooden shelter). Use the Moovit app for live timings as the Sita Sud bus website timetable very much didn't reflect the actual bus times! Domenico was really helpful in running through how to register and pay for bus travel online. Don't be alarmed if the return bus takes a detour as some routes back stop in all the hamlets on a loop before the local bus stop and back into Maiori! The property is ideally suited for the Amalfi coast but equally Pompeii - we did all our trips ourselves but you can pick up organised trips easily - are information points on Maoiri promenade.

We loved our stay. Be prepared that it is a bus ride into Maiori as the roads aren't ideal to walk along for any length of time and you need to plan your bus journeys as it is fairly rural - it is in one of the 13 small hamlets forming Tramonti so shopping and restaurants are less accessible than in a larger town. This however adds to the beauty and quaintness of the area and a real draw to be away from the bustle of places like Positano which felt quite crowded. Try to speak Italian - it is appreciated and be ready to have some cash as not everywhere locally accepts card.
