Villa Rosaria vicino la Riserva dello Zingaro

The apartment has a stunning view and is very spacious. The rooms are freshly painted and without clutter. It has a very pleasant shaded patio with plants and flowers around and we spent a lot of time here

The kitchen has a gas hob but no oven, microwave or toaster. There were only three glasses and one wine glass and was generally minimalist for food preparation like kitchen knives.

The location was perfect with walking distance from Scopello and very near the entrance of. The Zingaro preserve. The landscaped garden and the outside patio were very nice. Very clean and modern bathroom.

The house is divided into 3 apartments and we had the lower level. We did not know which apartment we booked and did not realize that our apartment would be in the basement. All of the windows are actually facing a wall one meter away and the light is coming from a grilled opening above .it is very dark even in full daylight. Some people may like it because it is probably cooler in the summer. I personally felt entombed. The ceilings are high and the electric light coming from the naked bulbs is very crude. There are minimal furnishing and decorations. This adds to the very cold feel of the apartment. The bed is hard and the sofa uncomfortable. The kitchen is very basic. One wineglass. Not even two. In summary, this is a tourist rental where you are expected to live outside which is great if the other renters are not too noisy and you are not bothered by mosquitoes. We had screaming children in the apartment above as all the patios are above each other.

Exactly as described. We were in the apartment at the top, perfect for two. It is very clean, new and comfortable, and really private so you can rest. Awesome view from the terrace! Location is just perfect for Scopello and Zingaro.

The apartment is up quite a steep driveway so the view is spectacular. Looking out over the sea to where it meets the horizon is mesmerizing. Vincenzo and Rosaria could not have been more helpful in guiding us to the accommodation and were quick to reply to any messages (especially when our plans changed due to flight cancellation). The space is light and well equipped with a gorgeous outside terrace with bamboo shade (necessary in current heatwave). Scopello is a lovely little place and a few minutes walk from the villa. The cafe zio makes a lovely coffee and serves great pastries and sandwiches although for the local pani cunzato you must go to the bakery owned by the family. Exquisite- especially the sfincione! We would highly recommend Villa Rosaria.

Because it was so hot during the heatwave we couldn’t always be outside so a comfy chair or sofa would enhance the space. But I guess it’s not normally so much an issue.

Nothing, it was all good.

This was the 2nd floor apartment with the concrete terrace and side sea view. The localization was perfect, out of the grid area with beautiful plants but 5 minutes walk distance from the center of scopello. 25 minutes walk from Zingaro Natural Reserve. There is a great winter duvet and it was very useful during the rainy days in the middle of October.

There was a hundreds of long, many legs worms on the terrace, so we couldn’t use it after dark and had to clean it every morning to eat on the terrace with the view. There was no regular knife and the pan was broken. The area of Scopello is full of coves and beaches but they’re not available for people… you see roads on google map but in reality there’re gates locked with padlocks. Only playa Mazzo di Scaccia and Guidaloca are available.
