The location

I didn't realise there was no yard or garden at the cottage, my fault but other cottages were available at the same price. The bed is old and extremely uncomfortable and the sofa wasn't much better. The facilities were acceptable but it felt very cramped in the bathroom. Cobblers cottage certainly wasn't as comfortable as other cottages we have stayed in previously and I will look extremely carefully before we book another. It was irritating that no welcome beverages were there on arrival and I noticed comments in the guest book reflected the same thoughts made by others. 0

Location - great to explore Sidmouth and this part of Devon.

Drain smell from toilet.. only one toilet roll in property and 2 tea bags… could have been a little more generous with consumables!

"Small and neat"

The location is excellent and parking space in nearby carpark very convenient. The cottage was clean and cozy.

The bed wasn't really big enough for the 2 of us. I had trouble sleeping but this is the only thing I wasn't completely happy with.

"Location could not have been better for us."

Location could not be better. There is a lovely bakery a couple of doors up from the property, a co-op just around the corner and only a couple of mins walk to the beach.

If the bed was bigger it would have been perfect.
