Villa Rousseau

Our stay at the villa was absolutely wonderful. The view from the balcony was amazing, especially during sunset. Alison and Vanessa were incredibly kind and welcoming to us. We bought fresh tuna and fish, and Vanessa kindly marinated everything for us so deliciously — we had an unforgettable barbecue evening. They also helped us arrange a rental car and organize taxis, which made our trip so much easier. Thank you so much for your hospitality and for making our stay so special!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Rousseau — it truly felt like a home away from home from the moment we arrived. The villa looks exactly as it does in the photos, and everything was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. The property itself is beautifully kept, with a lovely garden that add to the overall sense of tranquility. One of the highlights was the rooftop terrace, where we enjoyed unforgettable sunsets with sweeping views over the ocean, Beau Vallon Bay, and Silhouette Island in the distance. It is the perfect spot to unwind at the end of the day. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, always greeting us with genuine smiles and making us feel right at home. A special mention to Chris, who is a truly wonderful host — friendly, attentive, and full of helpful tips that made our stay even more enjoyable. The location is ideal, set in a quiet neighbourhood yet still conveniently close to everything you might need. While we would recommend having a car to explore the island fully, there is also a bus stop just at the end of the road, which makes getting around easy. Anse Marie Laure beach is also a short and pleasant 10 minute walk away and is well worth a visit. We would highly recommend Villa Rousseau to anyone visiting Mahé and would absolutely love to return one day. Thank you to Chris and the entire team for making our stay so truly memorable 💗

This was an amazing apartment! Very clean and a lot of space. The location was fine, with a car it doesn’t really matter. The host was very friendly and helpful. The two bathrooms were perfect.

such a was perfect location with a breathtaking view of the ocean. felt so warm and relaxing. the host Alison was absolutely amazing, she made it easy for me days before i arrived Seychelles, helped with my transfer and recommended a good tour guide. And vanessa is such an amazing being, was kind to help us settle in perfectly and answered all questions. The apartment itself is clean, in a quiet environment. its a perfect place to stay when in Mahe Seychelles.
