The location is great for exploring the Teide. The house is well decorated and we did like the full kitchen.

Oohh, where to start: the house is neglected. It was not clean at all when we arrived. Dust on the surfaces and lamps. Spiderwebs in also every corner, mice in the kitchen even though we had our food in containers. The bath was not cleaned in a long time. If you are in it, you can feel the lime deposits, which is not nice at all. It rained when we arrived and the back of the house and the kitchen were full of water. The roof leaks a lot! Overall, the house needs a deep cleaning and update in maintenance. If done, it can be a wonderful place, but in the state it is in now, we would not recommend it to anyone. Also, don't expect a nice outside seating area. The garden is super small, and there is nowhere to really enjoy the sun. We did not use the barbecue, so I can not say anything about that.

Easy to park on street outside. Elegantly furnished. Good large kitchen. Good outside space. Very comfy bed. Only a short walk to the central square. Quiet neighborhood. Only half hour drive to National Park. Easy to find.

On arriving the mechanism to access the key was not working. When the host was informed they seemed irritated by this and at one point put the phone down on us. Eventually someone came and opened the door with a key. We had no hot water for first three nights. After the first night the host suggested we switch the boiler on. Delayed ignition caused a minor gas explosion, which was very concerning. It took a further two nights for the boiler to be fixed. Even then it was only mildly warm. After flushing the toilet the water continued to flush and would not stop. We ended up fixing this ourselves. One of the windows was smashed - we were informed of this before arriving. While the property is very elegant and comfortable, important facilities are in a poor state maintenance.

The location is great if you want to enjoy Teneriffe far away from mass tourism in a calm and authentic environment. The house is unexpectedly big, well equipped and has everything one might need - also for self catering. The bed in the bed room that faces the garden is super comfortable! When we had one problem with the tv, it was fixed i.e., exchanged within no time.

Although the house is not the newest, we would have appreciated a little bit more attention to the details (laundry rack bust, soap dish holder missing, missing socket in one of the bathrooms etc.) But next to all these details what would have helped most is a fly screen at the windows. Despite the great air and the calm environment, the mosquitoes forced us to sleep with closed windows.

Huge interesting house with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Garden, easy street parking, nice restaurants nearby. Very quiet. Great location for walking.

Given wrong info to check-in so had to contact host on arrival. Also had trouble getting boiler to light for hot water but host sorted it in the end. There was a washing machine but no detergent provided. Would have been nice to have enough for one wash.
