Old Station Cottages

Well equipped warm and modern cottage in a great town which has everything you need and very friendly people.

There is parking in front of the cottage directly outside the front door however on two occasions we were unable to park on the area because a van kept parking over the access to the parking.

location very good, near to centre of town, but nice and quiet

two single beds in one of the bedrooms would have been easier in for us

Great cottage in a central location, within easy reach of all amenities. Spacious & well furnished rooms, a strong wifi signal and good quality bedding. Powerful shower with plenty of hot water. I particularly appreciated, especially as a sole traveller arriving at night, that lamps had been left on both downstairs & in the bedrooms. It made for a warm welcome. I would have no hesitation in recommending Station Cottage and I hope to be able to revisit.

Nothing/ having to leave!

Location was just perfect. two minutes away from the food store. And two minutes away from the local pub. The living space was nice to relax. Also the private parking just outside the doors is great benefit

Not much dissapointed but things to mention to improve the experience. The cottage need some love in general. Bathroom peeling paint does not look great. Also dull knifes in the kitchen could be sharpened or the knife sharpener provided would resolve the issue.

Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

I found the pillows a bit too soft, but that was just my personal issue as my mum slept like a baby!
