Great location and plenty of room.

What a lovely little place! The rooms are cosy and clean, lovely towels to use and set of shampoo. The place can sleep 6 so huge value for money! The host met us at the door and kept the wood burner on so it was lovely and warm for us when we arrived. Tea, coffee and bread and butter and jam provided. 1000% recommend !

Breakfast n/a although bread, milk, butter etc provided. Location perfect for country lovers & dogs.

The fire had been lighted and bread, milk,butter and jam ready to use. Third time we have stayed always had a pleasant stay.

Excellent place to stay with the family and the dog. Lovely, cosy and warm with the log burner. More coal and wood delivered when required. Nice and clean with tea/coffee, milk, bread, butter and jam on arrival. Mark pleasant and helpful and always on hand if you need anything. Great location with walk through the woods one minute away and really nice pub less than a five minute walk. Will definitely be back again.

Good location for us. Nearby woods for dog walking and very close to pub for good food and drinks.

Lack of wifi

The "lodge" was clean (we did see a few dead insects and cobwebs, and there was a fusty smell). The facilities all worked efficiently, and the beds were comfortable.

We stayed here as we were attending a wedding at Inkersall Grange Farm (roughly 10mins drive away). We are not from the area so had no idea how isolated it would be. We had no phone signal and there isn't WiFi at the "lodge".

Only thing missing was a lamp in the living room. But I could live with that!
