Lovely Mountain Lake Chalet by Yosemite: Equipped!

Very comfortable; our kids very much appreciated to have single beds rather than sharing a double bed. Well equipped kitchen, lovely terrace at the rear with hammocks and bbq. Nice lake to swim in.

Location was good - and nearby restaurants and supermarket. Fans are in each room as well. With a large kitchen.

I like the clear communication from the owner, who alerted us to driving times, entry times, entry conditions (into the gated community), extra charges for parking, directions to the property, and directed us to the information binder which included all sorts of information. He was very responsive to all my communication. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms and kitchen were clean.

This is not an ideal property to rent for one night because we could only enter from 4pm, and after waiting in a long entry line of visitor cars. Check-out was at 11am (though we had to leave before 8am for our white-water rafting trip). There are not a lot of overnight options in the area so choices were slim. Although a nice enough property, it did not seem like good value to me. Given how much I was paying for such a short stay, I wasn't thrilled about having to strip beds or leave with my own garbage so early in the morning, as requested, though it's possible neither request would have seemed inconvenient with a longer stay.

Very interesting place to stay with the charm of wilderness on the way to Yosemite (wild animals around, beautiful lake with a very nice beach. Very clean and spacious chalet with a well-equipped kitchen - it fitted out family of 6 very well. Very helpful host.

We thought that a cleaning fee is too high given that you have to do a lot of housekeeping before leaving. Also, we did not notice the parking fee (44usd) upon booking, but (then we thought) the possibility to swim in a beautiful lake in this closed territory more than compensated for that.

Cute and cozy home in a beautiful gated neighborhood. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, lots of amenities (community pool/hot tub) but we were coming in on the later side and out early on our way to Yosemite so just enjoyed the home itself. Great location! Quiet and peaceful. Tranquil.

Master bathroom door was a bifold shutter type door and lacked privacy.

The location was quiet and peaceful. We saw a lot of deers. Well equipped. The host was very responsive when we got lost and tried to find the main gate. It was relaxing and comfortable for us.

The parking is not free. You have to pay 42 dollars for permit per vehicle.
