Baptist Cottage

We liked everything about the cottage. Pleasant atmosphere, clean tidy, brilliant shower. All good.

All the good things that previous reviewers have said about this property are true! We had a very pleasant stay with plenty of options for dog walking and a warm fire for the evening when the weather turned bad. We discovered that the owners are held in high regard amongst the neighbours which tells you all you need to know about how genuine Diane and Jay are. From the personal greeting and local information through to the goodies left in the kitchen we felt very much at home. The garden was perfectly secure for our dog and the water butt in the paddock was handy for a quick wash down after a muddy walk. One thing to note: the upstairs bedroom has no door or door curtain to prevent light shining in from downstairs if someone is staying up late.

Location was great for us as we were training just down the road. Also easy to get to pubs and local towns

Would love to be able to have more than two people stay at the property even without the door in the top bedroom.

Everything was great.

The cottage is great. The kitchen is very complete and the hosts had prepared a welcome "food" package. We could eat outside. The environment was great. Very nice walks nearby and Stonehenge, Salisbury, Avebury at less than 30 minutes.
