Lodge clearly owned by a company as no personal touches such as a welcome pack with essentials, no oven gloves, tea towels or toilet rolls provided. Lodge is obviously no smoking but the Welcome booklet asks you use the ashtrays provided if smoking outside, however there were no ashtrays? Despite booking a two bedroom with two adults travelling, the second bed was not made up, we had to do that ourselves the first night! Maintenance of the property needs more attention due to several lightbulbs out, leaking shower (which I reported and was repaired the same day 👍), several external lights either missing or not working also a faulty door which made it difficult to lock.

A lovely lodge overlooking the golf course. Very peaceful. Lots of places to visit with restaurants and cafes within a short drive. The golf course was well maintained and quiet.

The lodge was very clean and well presented. The location is good and we found it very quiet and peaceful. Lovely outdoor deck and hot tub - was nice to have a view of the golf course and trees rather than other lodges!
