CHEZ MARIE' - modern apartment in countryside

We cooked our breakfast buying groceries from local stores, very convenient, the apartment has all the necessary items to cook.

Is a bit far from Sorrento, but once you figure out the Bus schedules. it works fine.

The place was very clean and comfortable and beautiful. The surrounding gardens were excellent, full of vegetables and fruit. The people were very friendly. It is ideally suited for exploring the Amalfi coast, Pompeii and surrounding sights.

The property is located in the hills and the only way to Sorrento and back is via local transport, or walking, if you are not renting a car. The taxi ride up from the train station was expensive. The local bus doesn’t show up on Google maps. Once one has discovered the means to get there and back from Sorrento, many of these issues are not relevant. A coffee machine would have been nice.

The property is clean with all what required for our family. Really recommend this apartment for big family 5 to 6 persons. The family makes you feel like you are one of them.

This is a very beautiful countryside villa in a small village above Sorrento. The pictures correspond to the actual house. There is a nice terrace and beautiful lemon and vegetable garden.

The location of the villa is only suitable by car, as the public transport is irregular, and the terrain is very steep and inconvenient for a daily climbing and descending. Taxis are ridiculously expensive. For almost the entire time, we had no phone signal. At least the Wi-Fi was okay.

Everything was wonderful! Carmine was super nice and the house had everything we needed.

Good semi rural setting in amongst lemon groves, excellent outdoor area for eating, good cooking facilities.

The apartment was perfect fit for a family 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Parking was provided free of charge, and host was super supportive.

there was no coffee machine for espresso, Iron board was super difunctional. There was no amenities provided for washing or making a salad. It would be nice also to have at leas complimentary water

We expected the location was not within walking distance from Sorrento downtown, however the bus station is very close by and the bus schedule had several options. We traveled by car and Carmine was amazing with helping us overcome the challenges a car trip might encounter ! Location was wonderful to come to after a busy day of travelling around. The restaurant that is within walking distance, Trattoria da Luciano, allowed us to experience great Italian cuisine and wonderful atmosphere! We will return! Thank you Carmine for everything!

We had a wonderful time at Marie’s apartment. We are a family of six and the space was perfect for all of us. Everything was pristine clean and communication with the Host was very fluent.
