Location Size was good for larger family Quiet neighbourhood

The directions to get to and into the house was helpful and accurate. The house is good and as in the photos. The wifi is excellent, and the shower is lovely. The kitchen has what you require and the place is very clean. Some suggestions in the house for places to eat - at different price points, and places to visit would be a help to tourists. Some of the appliances and air con have different (maybe newer) remotes and controls so the manual does not adequately guide us to use them now - same in either language as the photos are incorrect.

It was a nice place to stay.

Beds were comfortable. Electronic check in fast and easy. All instructions for the house were very clear

In the bathtub some place to put down our face washing stuff was missing. Wish there was a toilet room upstairs. Kitchen was a bit small for cooking

It`s a spacious, clean and comfortably located apartment. Especially for large groups it might be the best option in Takayama.

Even though the apartment is spacious, tidy and really in a great location it somehow lacks hospitality. We know that this is a very personal opinion but we had very different experiences while travelling. Everything is neat and tidy but simple accessories which make a traveller feel welcome (which we had in almost every other place we stayed at in Japan) were missing. In the welcome infos (which are helpful in terms of navigation but leave you kind of nervous about all the things you have to consider during your stay) you are greeted with a very long list of Do`s and Dont`s that gave us a feeling of not being a guest but rather a tolerated person for a night.
