"Quiet relaxing stay by the river."

Host met us at the property and handed over the keys, easy process on arrival. The best feature was the quiet environment, we were surrounded by woods and a river which was lovely.

Found lots of dead flies everywhere - bedrooms, bathrooms, on the window sills. Also a huge stray dog that wondered up to the house. We absolutely love dogs and he was friendly so wasn’t a problem for us but I imagine this wouldn’t go down as well with other guests. A minor thing thing so I wouldn’t mark down the venue for that.
