absolutely awesome location so peaceful! beautiful views of the mountains and so quiet just the occasional dog bark and echo which was nice! definitely a different accommodation from most places but so tranquil and relaxing!

WiFi a bit hit or miss but not surprised given the remote location!

Gorgeous mountain view, very quiet area, great place to relax after whole day of Turism. Near the place you have a lot of Hiking trails and beautiful villages. Staying here you will experience real gran canaria lifestyle.

If you're looking for a different experience, this is the place to be. You can have a very nice breakfast/lunch out on the terrace with an amazing view. A very nice and quiet place to stay. Amazing sunsets!

A little remote but worth it. 25 min to a shop. Hard driving on windy roads.

Wonderful peaceful location with a friendly helpful owner. This place was just right for us, we were not looking for a luxury hotel but rather somewhere away from the crowds and close to nature. Good area for birdwatching and easy to get to other good locations too. Once you get used to the roads access is not too difficult but probably not the place to try if you are a nervous inexperienced driver. We found the effort was worth it for the unique experience. That we thoroughly enjoyed our stay despite the worst weather in the Canaries for 10 years and the wettest September there in record speaks volumes for the place. We were able to watch the Queen's Funeral live on the satellite TV and the internet was fine until the worst of the storm. As others have commented, this is an unusual if not unique place to stay so you need to recognise it is remote and basic, but having said that we do hope we can return again sometime. The owner, Vincent is very friendly and helpful, We were able to meet him for a drink when we visited Maspolomas and he kept in touch to make sure we were OK during the storm.

A few small leaks in the roof, but we were there for the worst storm to hit the Canary Islands for 10 years, so that is hardly surprising. Could do with a couple more small bowls as others have noted but I am sure Vincent, the owner will probably get round to bringing some soon. Wouldn't suit those who expect luxury but that didn't worry us.
