CASA MAIRA IN CENTRO A SATURNIA

La casa è molto carina, quasi caratteristica. La chicca che mi ha fatto impazzire è stata il giardinetto privato esterno, veramente carino. È fornita di tutto ed è molto pulita, anche ampia poiché dotata di due camere da letto e due bagni. Inoltre la posizione è ottima, sia per la piazza centrale che è letteralmente a 1 min a piedi, che per le cascate e terme che sono a 5/6 min in auto. Punto strategico anche per raggiungere i borghetti attorno saturnia. Inoltre, la signora Maira è super gentile e discreta, un host presente ma mai invadente. Si merita assolutamente il massimo del punteggio. Se dovessi ritornare a saturnia, sicuramente sceglierei di nuovo la sua splendida villetta o la consiglierei a chiunque voglia andare.

Location of the house to the centre of the village. Clean and tidy, well maintained. Off street parking provided.

The house fronts a road that is used to reach the piazza, and if you open the main bedroom windows, there is traffic noise. However an excellent air cooler was provided in the bedroom to keep the room cool during the night.

We arrived late and Maira was there to greet us. She recommended a restaurant and even called and made reservations for us at a great restaurant in the square. The food was great. The apartment is well stocked and in a great location and very clean and comfortable. One minute walk to the square with restaurants and cafes. Just a few minutes drive to the springs. We will definitely book Maira's place again.

The location was excellent, situated right by the stunning town square that's lined with restaurants and beautiful places to sit out and enjoy the locals meandering and kids playing in the square. We had such a pleasant and relaxing evening there and our host, Maria, made us feel very welcome.

I wouldn't say I disliked anything really. If you want modern and slick than it's not for you, it wasn't fancy. However it was so quaint and super practical for a family visiting Saturnia for the springs. It was excellent value for location with it being right at the square and it being so close to the spectacular Saturnia hot springs. And what a treasure Maria is (the lady that greeted us at the property) so motherly, patient and very welcoming, my daughters all warmed to her and her ways.
