"Decent stay, try the restaurant!"

This review is for the two-bedroom apartment, which was quite okay. The standard was ok/decent and good enough for a short two-day stay not more. Cleaning was ok. Not ideal if you don’t enjoy going up and down stairs. Floor 1 has the main entrance with a small kitchenette and a toilet/shower next to it. Floor 2 leads to a small living room with a dining table, Floor 3 containbs room with a double bed, followed by one more staircase to the top floor where there’s a bed about 120 cm wide. The host was fantastic! You must try the food at the restaurant Bistro By George, highly recommended! (There’s also a three-bedroom apartment, which I also stayed in, and it’s much, much better and fresher. The filter coffee machine in three-bedroom apartment was a big plus. Book three-bedroom apartment instead if it’s available).

Lighting/lamps that were broken and should be checked (especially for the stairs at night). The beds were not very comfortable in 2 beds apart. Stairs.

Die Lage war grossartig. Die Ferienwohnung mit drei Schlafzimmern war außergewöhnlich wenn man es mag. Zum Restaurant mit gutem Essen und guten Getränken sind es zehn Schritte, einfach gegenüber. Die alten Bruchsteinmauern und engen Gassen und die Nähe der Stolberger Burg vermitteln ein unglaubliches Urlaubsfeeling.

Um ins obere Schlafzimmer zu gelangen musste man 50 Stufen klettern, nichts für Personen mit Handicap. Um zum Badezimmer und zur Toilette zu gelangen musste man vier Treppen runter gehen. Bei der ersten Treppe stößt man sich am Betonsturz den Kopf da sehr tief.

Teilweise Blick auf die Burg ist sehr schön. vis-a-vis ist ein gemütliches Restaurant.

Die Treppen sind schon sehr steil und eng. Bad und Küche sind ganz unten, die Glastür zum Bad grenzt direkt an die Küche und ließ sich nicht 100% schließen.
