Outlook a Wandylaw Cottage now what a view

Outlook cottage is superb! The view is to die for. Wake every morning to see sheep and pheasants in the field adjacent to the cottage. Even better, sit in the comfort of the cottage and view the entire scene through the glass patio doors whilst having a morning brew! The bed must be the most comfortable we have ever slept in whilst on holiday. The cottage parking is secure as is the garden around the cottage, perfect for our pooch! The cottage is 10 miles north of Alnwick and about 25 miles to Berwick. Both towns are easy to get to along the A1. Perfect for visiting both Northumberland and the Scottish borders. Rachel is a great host and the communication is brilliant. Thanks Rachel. We loved Outlook cottage and can't wait to go back again.

I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like!

The cottage is in a perfect location with stunning views. This is out 4 th visit and will certainly be returning.

Lovely cottage, very comfy and great facilities

Nothing, very peaceful

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Little terrace looking out onto the view is really something special. Really close to main roads which makes it easy access to nearby towns but situated as so it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. Photos don't do it justice. Would stay again in a heartbeat and recommend to anyone. We were lucky enough to have great weather so ate out on the patio for breakfast and supper overlooking the view with the sheep and the swallows! Super clean and comfortable. Secure garden for the dog which was really useful. All amenities great, well stocked kitchen, lovely hot shower. Great communication. All round fantastic place to stay! We didn't want to leave.

Hard to think of anything we didn't like other than having to go home!

The cottage was very lovely and like home from home, and the view was just amazing, we woke up and had breakfast outside and it was so peacefull and beautiful, my son loves animals so waking up to find goats and cows were our neighbours was a win win! We will definitely book to come again! We loved it.

We couldn't have faulted anything to be honest as it was great if we had to pick one thing it would be the shower it tended to spray everywhere and you didn't have an option but to get your hair wet! But that's if we really had to pick something! Definitely wouldn't stop us coming again!

The property was very well equipped, extremely comfortable and was well situated for visiting historic sites and beaches. Couldn't fault it

View was amazing, cottage itself fabulous has everything you need.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like just a a couple of points , fridge wasn’t very clean, and a couple of blankets would be a good idea. It was chilly on first night.

We have stayed at Outlook cottage on numerous occasions and love the location. It gives access to many of our favourite Northumberland coastal spots. The accommodation is a great base for a chilled break in the countryside. The cottage itself is very well equipped and makes for a lovely break.

Unfortunately the cottage next door was having work done on it so we didn’t have the peaceful time that we had expected. A council removal had also been booked for the outbuilding of our cottage and the workman woke us up at 7:20 in the morning asking for access to the outbuilding. Disappointing to say the least. A bit gutting as it’s one of our favourite places to visit each year and we very much look forward to visiting, on this occasion we decided to cut our break short.
