Secluded hilltop hideaway!

The peace, warmth and comfort of Roz' hilltop cottage - combined with the beauty of the setting.

The lane leading into Woodlodge Estate could do with a shale or tarmac finish - those potholes are tricky to negotiate!

The house was lovely. It has 3 big bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a fully equiped kitchen and a living room. It also has an outdoor part which you can enjoy if the weather is good. It was very clean and comfy!

The location was a little difficult to find, but we called to the staff phone number and she indicated us how to get there, so that wasn’t a problem. The path to get to the house is in poor condition, so especially if you have a low car you need to be very careful.

Superb house perfect for our needs. Great host, location (own transport needed as a few kms outside Westport). Perfect spot for us to stay for the weekend as we were climbing Croagh Patrick.

Nothing negative to say about this place.

The only problem was the laneway leading up to the house. There was an incredible amount of potholes that I'm sure could cause damage

Excellent facilities, lovely location, the house was clean and warm, nice sized bedrooms, six adults e joyed stay f5or two nights,

The short roadway leading to the house could do with pot holes being filled, however this did not dampen our stay.

We were doing a bit of traveling around Mayo, so the location was perfect, quiet and comfortable for us to relax after driving all day.

Mit Google Maps war das Haus gut zu finden, auch wenn es wirklich abgelegen mitten auf einem Hügel im Wald liegt - nur mit PKW/Motorrad gut zu erreichen. Das Haus ist echt geräumig, und doch schön warm (geheizt) und gemütlich. Die Ausstattung war ausreichend bis gut. Bestimmt auch gut geeignet, um Urlaub mit Kindern zu machen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr nett und schnell via Booking-App. Wie es manchmal in Ferienhäusern ist, hat man ggf. ein anderes Sauberkeitsempfinden als die Vormieter, aber es war alles in Ordnung. Ich fand es super, dass die Wäsche mit relativ geruchsneutralem Waschmittel gewaschen wurde.

Kleiner Wermutstropfen für mich persönlich: helle Vorhänge, keine Rollos.

Great stay at the cottage. The property was clean, spacious, and well maintained. It had all the essential amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience.
