Santa Clara Old Town

Everything. Very spacious accommodation with an outside area to relax. A special bonus was the roof terrace. Close to the beach and a 10 minute walk to old town.

If you enjoy cooking, the kitchen and cooking utensils (pots, frying pans) are old and in and need replacement. In winter months, there is very little sunshine on both of the outdoor spaces as they are cloistered amongst other buildings. Owner should supply house manual with step by step instructions on how to use appliances, what to do with garbage/recycling, etc.

I'm extremely happy with my stay however the beds were a bit hard.

Spacious apartment with great courtyard

I loved the style of the property, it was cool and quirky. I loved the outdoor space and the roof terrace with sun beds was a great extra space to have . The main thing I liked was the distance to the beach, no taxis needed , just a 2/3 min walk to the escalator down to the beach . It was also really close to a few great restaurants like iguana and ocean ??? - I can’t remember the name but it was an Indian . It is totally down to personal preference my partner preferred an apartment we stayed in that had a pool but I preferred this property by a mile .

The pillows were very deep, so was a bit uncomfortable.

great location and very large for just the 4 of us. the decor is something between boho and old style Portuguese, kind of cute. its a very quiet street but close enough to go everywhere by foot. its about 3 mins walk to the lift that takes you right doen to the beach. very cool thing.

only one of 3 bedrooms has aircondition and one had a very noisy fan. the safe didn’t really work and we had to call several times to open it. it has a terrace but there is no view at all.

Location, layout. Had everything we needed. Extremely comfortable stay. Will definitely stay there again.
