Quay Cottage - Aldeburgh Coastal Cottages

Cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Modern facilities.

Property was too far out of town on main road. Main issue were the stairs. Even though we were told they were steep it was a shock. Getting up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom on the ground floor was dangerous.

The cottage was in a great location we managed to park outside of the property for 3 out of 4 days. Very clean property Great garden Fabulous location for the town centre, walks and access to shops.

I think it would be useful to tell people how steep the stairs are, they are shallow and steep and not easy to descend. The pillows are to big and hard and 2 of us ended up removing all pillows to get a good nights sleep.

The house was clean and cosy. Facilities good. Beds and bedding were great. Despite being on a fairly busy road it was very quiet through the night. The little fire was all we needed to keep warm throughput the evenings.

It was one thing having steep stairs but not having a non slip surface was dangerous. . I actually slipped and fell down a couple of stairs despite being very aware of the surface. We couldn't get the hob to work so instructions would have been useful. Lack of kitchen storage space could present a problem if staying longer. We couldn't get into the key safe on arrival.

no microwave,damp in the kitchen,lack of cupboard space in kitchen,lack of wardrobe etc in bedroom,steep stairs,poor quality sofa in lounge,dripping tap in kitchen ,piece of paper on letterbox

Lovely cottage with everything you need , And very close to Sea shops and resturants .

Road was a little noisey
