Quiet neighbourhood , right by stunning sea front , easy access to lovely unspoilt town of Altafulla.

Oven didn’t heat evenly and if you had AC and oven on together power goes off

Die Lage ist ausgezeichnet. Man ist sofort am Strand, bei Restaurants sowie Geschäften und in 10 Minuten in der schönen Altstadt. Dort sind ebenfalls Bars, Restaurants usw. Vorhanden. Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto schnell (5 Min) zu erreichen. Man kann direkt kleine Wanderungen und Spaziergänge entlang der Küste machen. Barcelona ist in 50 Min. erreichbar: Mit dem Auto oder noch besser von Bahnhof (Altafulla) aus direkt am Passeig der Grasa (!) aussteigen nach 5 Stopps. Gewissen Mängeln hatten wir gemeldet, welche schnell adressiert oder behoben wurden

Einige Komponenten/Einrichtungsgegenstände am Haus müssen ersetzt oder besser gepflegt werden. In der Summe schmälert dies doch schon den Komfort. Das ist schade, weil es nicht viel Aufwand und Kosten braucht, um dies zu machen. Auch hätte ich mir beim Preis gewünscht, dies so einwandfrei vorzufinden: - Matratze im grossen Schlafzimmer eigentlich nicht mehr benutzbar, da komplett durchgelegen und eine Tortur für den Rücken - Nur in 2 Schlafzimmern Klimaanlage - Trifft man leider in allen Ferienhäusern an: Kaputte Pfannen, zu wenig grosse Töpfe, besonders wenn viele Leute im Haus sein können ist das ärgerlich. Da gibt es günstigen Ersatz bei IKEA. - Der Pool schien länger nicht gewartet worden zu sein, das Wasser war nicht sauber (wurde dann behoben!) - Der Kühlschrank kühlte perfekt, verlor aber immer wieder was Wasser, was dann eine Pfütze bildete - Die Spülmaschine ist schlecht und säubert nicht gut das Geschirr. Es bleiben Reste zum Teil zurück am Teller oder den Gläsern - Schränke und Schubladen schliessen in der Küche nicht richtig

A beautiful villa, lovely large swimming pool, a 3 minute walk to the sandy beach with a few restaurants. Very quiet area.

Beautiful neighborhood, great location, cozy and clean house, neat and child friendly garden. Overall, great for family vacation.

Location was good for us. Swimming pool was nice.

There was no firm arrangement for collecting and giving up the keys. The issue was mainly that the property was located in a locked gated area and the host was not there when we arrived and only by chance were we able to access the property through a colleague of the host. Returning the keys was also problematical. I had assumed the host would be there to collect the keys on our departure. This was not the case and we had to ensure that the gate was unlocked before we left the keys in the house otherwise we would have been locked in behind the gate once we had shut the door of the house. We were advised that we were the first guests of the year, but I am not sure that excuses the lack of maintenance of the property. The canopy to the terrace area at the back of the house was torn and growing mould and we couldn’t close some of the external shutters. Some of the draw fronts in the kitchen were falling off and some of the extensive collection of the crockery was chipped and cracked and cups were stained and ‘crazy paved’. This would easily have been rectified if somebody had taken the trouble to check and dispose of the faulty items. Most of the mismatched glasses were dirty and we had to wash them before using them. There were no wine glasses. The beds were quite comfortable but each only had one pillow and there were no spare pillows. Any of these comments in isolation are perhaps minor but we paid a lot of money for the week and expected things to be better than we found them. The price had gone up by over £500 for the week since the same week in 2023 with the provision of the swimming pool but we did make full use of it.

This home is very close to the beach. It was very clean and the owner was very helpful with our questions.
