Cedra Cottage - Vintage Country Hideaway

The cottage was warm, comfortable and beautifully decorated for our Christmas break. We had a wonderful time.

Everything was perfect.

Welcome basket on arrival. Everything had been thought of for all seasons. Interior design was amazing but at the same time comfortable and welcoming.

Quiet and beautiful setting, host was very communicative and the property was kitted out with everything we might need (and more) for a relaxing family holiday.

No shops or pubs within walking distance though Axminster, Beer, Seaton and Lyme Regis just a short drive away.

Describing our experience at Cedra Cottage in Devon & Dorset feels insufficient to fully convey our feelings. The holiday we spent there was truly the most wonderful experience we have ever had. Our stay at this cottage not only met our expectations but exceeded everything we could have hoped for. The house itself is absolutely perfect – immaculate and incredibly cozy, providing a wonderful sense of home. Every detail is amazing, and it is evident that the owners have poured a lot of effort and love into creating such a special place. Everything is so well thought through, all the instructions are clear, and the cottage is excellently maintained. The kitchen is fully equipped, and we loved the original details and traditional setting. The garden is beautiful, as are the surroundings, and we enjoyed all of our sightseeing and walks. The owners are wonderful, very helpful people, and their attention to detail, from the cleanliness to the thoughtful equipment provided, made our stay truly a dream. The only thing we are not sure about is whether we liked little or big Cedra Cottage better! 🙂 Our English countryside dream came true in the best possible way, and we sincerely hope to return one day.

Immaculately presented. Very good facilities. Home produce welcome pack. Lovely, very well kept cottage garden. Well located and close by all attractions in West Dorset / East Devon. Particularly good access to coastal towns and World Heritage Jurassic Coast.

Nothing, really can’t fault it

The cottage was wonderfully decorated for Christmas with lots of character and thoughtful decorations. We loved the cozy atmosphere and were amazed at how well equipped the kitchen was in terms of equipment and condiments etc. We had a lovely, very comfortable time at the cottage and would definitely return for another stay. It was well situated in a rural area very close to the sea. Thank you Lucy Ann for a wonderful stay and all the thought you put into making the cottage a delightful place to go on holiday.

Lucy-Ann is a most welcoming host. Cedra Corrage is a lovely cosy cottage. Spotless clean and attention was taken to all details.
