Ferry View Cottage

We loved our stay at Ferry View Cottage, it was like home away from home! Carmel was a great host, she had lovely muffins for us on arrival, anything you would need for your stay was in the cottage. She thought of everything! The cottage was lovely & clean. The cottage was in the perfect location for touring the beautiful area.

Great location for my golf trip, and a clean, comfortable, private and warm place for an exhausted golfer to return to after a day getting blown to bits!

It took a bit of finding in the dark as the sign had been blown down in a storm, but I mentioned to the Owner and I'm sure it will be sorted soon.

We had a wonderful stay, the house is spacious and with all the amenities to cook, a smart TV, and comfortable bedrooms. Carmel was a welcoming host and ensured we had everything we needed. The house is within minutes to Belmullet town, where you can find local pubs and there are two supermarkets, Aldi and Eurospar, which were very convenient to get groceries. The surroundings are beautiful and the house is peaceful and comfortable.

Lovely warm and cosy

Carmel is a lovely host who is straight to the point with info or anything you require. The cottage is a perfect size with comfortable bed and many homely touches. I would absolutely stay here again and look forward to doing so.

Location was fine, accessible and walkable to the town.

It wasn't apparent to me at booking that the house was in such proximity to, and behind, a family home. I was looking for a quiet, remote place with a view. The view effectively was limited to the yard. However, the facilities were higher standard than expected, but unfortunately, it wasn't the facilities I was interested in.
