Entire holiday home in Blackpool with free parking and a private patio garden

A really lovely holiday home in a great location. Clean, comfortable and homely; and the private enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. Parking outside was easy. Shops and takeaways a short walk away. The hosts really do go the extra mile to make you feel welcome, and we felt so relaxed and comfortable there. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Home from home, great welcome book explaining everything in simple terms including smart TV and heating system. Hosts very welcoming, permitted early access to property, and checked with me next day to see if all OK. Little touches were very thoughtful like umbrella for guests to use, throws in lounge for extra coziness and parking permit for road outside which was easy to find space on. Beds really comfy too and towels / hairdryer / cleaning products provided. It was decorated / accessorised in a contemporary yet slightly eclectic style that really worked. 14 year old daughter described decor as 'cute' and both children would be happy to stay again. It was 15 mins walk to beach and only 10 mins walk to town. Corner shop is a mini market for immediate needs and a variety of takeaway options which delivered without issue.

Small niggles / me being picky... hinges in some kitchen cupboards are rust covered (possible damp / poor air circulation?) which dictated where I felt comfortable to store food. Some mugs had stains in which would be an easy fix by the cleaner ... however overall property was really clean. Breakfast included on booking.com but this meant mini rice krispies boxes, carton of oj and already opened large jar of coffee. Butter sachets in fridge but no bread... Had brought my own coffee, so not a huge inconvenience, just not what I would view as breakfast. However, would readily stay again as these were small niggles and didn't effect the trip at all.

Could do with having bread and butter etc to make toast or sandwich for breakfast not just cereals.

Warm and cosy

everything! it was cosy and homely, just want we needed after a blustery walk along the Blackpool seafront! The house has everything you need and more! the property was close enough that you don’t need a car but far enough away that you don’t get the noise or the crowds! it’s also within walking distance of the zoo which was fab!

It was very clean and smelt lovely as soon as we opened the door. Well equipped, great to have a parking space right outside.
