"A great house with expansive views in a picturesque village; a comfortable stay thank you."

Super location, in easy reach of two pubs, a well-stocked local shop, the ferries to Dartmouth and across the river, and several fine walks. What wonderful views from this house! A big plus for us was that the kitchen had sharp knives (this was great but uncommon), lots of pots and pans, and a coffee plunger.

Not enough attention was given to the small comforts for travelling guests... including dishwasher and washing detergent, spare garbage bags, chopping boards (we could find only one), napkins and/or kitchen roll, shampoo/conditioner, face-washers. More hooks on the bathroom walls and a shelf in the shower areas would be great. It was certainly good to have a separate freezer but it was iced up when we arrived and contained some legacy items from previous guests.

Some more cooking utensils would have been useful - grater, large serving bowl, chopping boards, tin opener etc. Front door latch didn't work.
