Ai Tintori Di Ortigia

A wonderful small cosy apartment, which made us feel like we’re part of the local community as we hung a laundry out on the balcony. It was within walking distance of all the sites of Ortigia. The apartment was well equipped, Located in a quiet area and very comfortable.

The small kitchen meant there was no room for a microwave oven, which would’ve been useful for reheating food etc.

Me and my son 14 year spent the Christmas holidays here. 7 exciting days and not enough. The hosts had decorated and there were lights shining. On the table I had a bottle of wine, nuts, fruit and a large pennettone cake. It was fantastic. All comforts were provided for me. On the island of Ortija, charm and magic of past centuries are combined. A unique place where you never get bored. On 30.12. 2023 I even visited the Teatro Comunale, where I saw a musical of Pipino il Brave. I ate all kinds of sweets typical of Sicily - cannelloni, baba, cassata, panna cotta. To feel the spirit and the atmosphere you must stay at least 7 days. Тhanks very much

Located in the old city center, close to everything, croissants in the morning just 3 minutes away, small grocery store in 2 and 5 minutes away, a lot of wonderful restaurants just around the corner.

Cetty, the proprietor was most helpful and welcoming. She has thought of absolutely everything one may need in a holiday home, and more. The location could not be better. Very good internet connection.

I knew I would be using the sofa bed to sleep on and, as expected, this wasn't very comfortable.

Fantastic location right in the middle of the island, yet nice and quiet. Hosts have thought of so many little touches to make this place so homely. We had a lovely time, thank you
