Cheviot Pines Northumberland

When we first arrived the heating hadn’t been put on so we had to keep shoes and coats on till heating came through. Carpet in passage was soaking wet, must be a leak from bathroom. Was really dusty and dirty needed a good hoover, dusting and deep clean. Still had clumps of dog hair off previous visitors. The oven door and a broken and the fridge door so milk went all over and constantly paranoid when using the oven with little children. Worst of all the hot tub the reason why you pay more for did not correctly was like a Luke warm bath followed by a cold water jet. Complained every day we were there and nothing was done. Basically got told that is the temperature it is. Would never go back.

Couldn’t have a shower properly as shower tray kept overflowing Xmas dinner was a challenge only two pans, 1 rack in oven and only two working hobs Main bedroom in caravan seemed very damp

Quiet location very comfortable and clean with everything you would need for your stay. Loved the Christmas tree and decoration's added for this time of the year

Maybe provide a powerful torch for the Winter months as trying to get around the site in the dark was a bit spooky

Location. Lovely caravan and relaxing break

Absolutely gorgeous. Loved the hot tub and the cosy fireplace. The beds were so comfortable, everyone slept very well! We have stayed in quite a few caravans and this has probably been our favourite. It felt more like a cosy lodge. The Wi-Fi was great and we could log in to Netflix for a movie night which was a bonus.

The property itself was perfect! The owners have put a lot of thought into it and it was well kitted out with everything we needed. The hot tub area could do with being a bit more enclosed but it didn’t put us off using it. The location is ideal for a base if you don’t mind driving everywhere. As a family with young children I didn’t consider practicalities of not having everything on the doorstep so was a bit of a faff needing to drive to a shop and to get food. The location was very peaceful in the day however late on at night there were quite a few golf buggies flying about with people whooping and chanting.

The directions gave made finding the property very easy, the van and hot tub were very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Quiet, Clean and comfortable . A good location for exploring the area and the hot tub was a welcome extra for relaxing after a busy day
