Te Harinui - Peaceful rural escape

Host was welcoming, friendly. Everything you needed and more was there, the breakfast was superb and delicious. Such a relaxing, peaceful place, comfortable sofa's, chairs, bed. Enjoyed the view from lounge/bedroom and deck of the Mount, ocean and the rural views from the other windows. Easy to find with ease getting on and off SH2, parking fantastic being right in front of the door with heaps of room. Fantastic location for exploring Puketoki Reserve, Omokoroa, Bethlehem, McLaren Falls areas. We highly recommend to anyone and would not hesitate to return again. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I took my elderly mother and she loved her stay - warm, views, large space inside, deck was long with good width, covered, quiet.

Peaceful place, clean, comfortable and everything I needed.

Internet was a little problematic.

Food supplied for breakfast was good. One of us is dairy and gluten intolerant. Our hosts supplied suitable milk, cereal and yoghurt plus the usual breakfast food, milk and fruit.

Absolutely stunning location with amazing views!! Very kind and generous hosts who thought of anything and everything you could ever need on a trip away. We also loved how it wasn’t too far from eveything but far enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The place is also much bigger in person than it looks on the photos!!

If you’re picky about your pillows I’d recommend bringing your own ;)

Everything, it was absolutely perfect. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your little bit of paradise.it was modern and clean, so peaceful. The shower has great pressure, it had everything we needed and more. The view over the Harbour is stunning. Would absolutely recommend and we hope to come back again. Thank you 😊.

A rural escape, plenty of room for 2 with everything we could have wished for as travellers.

Absolutely nothing. Everything was there. Tip top standard.

The variety of breakfast options was great - catered for gluten free and normal. Options of coffee/tea was great too. They even thought of that little snack that you may want upon arrival or late at night. The bed was so comfortable and the shower had great heat and water pressure (better than home). Loads of space and private.

There was nothing to dislike.
