Spacious accommodation with allocated parking.

Felt a little odd staying in a property which is attached to the owners house but at no time was any contact made with us. It would seem that only if we had any queries then we might possibly meet the owners. Just felt very impersonal. Plus there were far too many notices around the interior of the property enforcing rules and regulations eg No Smoking, Strictly No Entry, Remove Shoes and No Drugs. I’m presuming the owners have had issues with previous occupants but it did make us feel that we were in a local authority hostel. The property was very spacious but is in need of refurbishment. We did like the fact that there was laundry facilities even though the washing machine unusually drained into the bath tub. We’ve never seen this feature before. The provision of towels was very limited for a 5 night stay. The property is located on a busy road and at times reversing off the driveway was quite difficult.

Size was great, very good price for what you get.

My partner is 6.3ft so couldn’t stand in one shower, luckily there’s two. Master room on suite had a lot of mold in the shower head and seals. A little off putting, but the rest of the house was clean.

I liked everything about our accommodation, as per my answers to the previous questions.

I would have liked to chat with the owners to let them know how excellent their beautiful home is and thank them. On checkout, I went to thank them but all their curtains were drawn, so I did not bother them.

The signs all over the house are a little overwhelming and make it feel less welcoming. I don’t see the need for NO DRUGS to be plastered everywhere around the house. The beds were not comfortable. Other than that the house was very clean and had everything we needed.
